Training Logs


The following training logs are Microsoft Excel Files. You will need Excel to use them properly. They are made available for public use and were created by NENSA Program Director Pat Cote.


Dowload Instructions:

"Training_Log_3.xls" containts17 worksheets, each with a 3 week cycle. "Training_Log_4.xls" contains 13 worksheets, each with a 4 week cycle. Two training logs are offered to cover the two most popular training cycles used by skiers.

Internet Explorer:

2-button mouse: Left-click and choose"Download Link to Disk". Save in appropriate folder.

1-button mouse: Point arrow to the link. Hold down mouse button. Choose "Download Link to Disk". Save in appropriate folder.

Netscape:

2-button mouse: Left-click and choose"Save this link as...". Save in appropriate folder.

1-button mouse: Point arrow to the link. Hold down mouse button. Choose "Save this link as...". Save in appropriate folder.

Instructions:

Getting started:

1) Open Microsoft Excel. Click "File," then "Open." Choose the file.

2) Save a Copy as "(Your Name) Training 02_03" or something like that. Then you'll still have the master copy in case something happens, or if you want to use it again next year.

3) Double Click on "(Your Name) Training 02_03"

MS Excel will open with the Training Log consisting. "Training_Log_3.xls" containts17 worksheets, each with a 3 week cycle. "Training_Log_4.xls" contains 13 worksheets, each with a 4 week cycle. Two training logs are offered to cover the two most popular training cycles used by skiers.

You are ready to go. The training log will do all math for you, just add daily hours in decimal format (ex. 2.3 hours, NOT 2:18)

Printing

1) Click on "File" then "Page Setup."

2) In page set-up choose, "Landscape." and "OK"

You are ready to print. The first page will contain the first 3 weeks. The second page will contain the 4th week, additional comments, and coach comments. The 3rd page will contain just the daily comments...
