On Wednesday, a group of 14 adaptive athletes and 9 coaches from around the country converged upon the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid for a week-long Paralympic training camp.  Most of the adaptive athletes at the camp participate in both cross-country and biathlon events, which take place at the same International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Cup events.  The competition variety also carries over to the camp so athletes have been dialing in shooting positions, roller-skiing and sit skiing on mountain boards, testing in the weight room and on the SkiErg and learning the physiology and nutrition of training.  Check out photos at the adaptive blog.
