Serotta Spirit of Skiing Award

Summary: Nominations close April 25 for the NENSA/Serotta Spirit of Skiing Award to be announced along with the John Caldwell Award (for a service to New England XC community), Club of the Year, and Coach of the Year awards at the NENSA Spring Board of Directors Meeting on May 3 at Pineland Farms and at NENSA.net.

NENSA / Serotta Spirit of Skiing Award

New for 2009 is the NENSA / Serotta Spirit of Skiing Award with the winner receiving a $3000 voucher toward the purchase of a steel, carbon fiber or titanium Serotta bicycle, handbuilt in Saratoga Springs, NY.

The Spirit of Skiing Award recognizes “above-and-beyond” commitment to the sport of cross-country skiing in New England.   Nominees are submitted by email to spirit@nensa.net and include name of nominee, contact information for nominee and detailed stories to illustrate the commitment of the nominee.  Nominees may include athletes, coaches, parents, event personnel, or anyone else who supports cross-country skiers in New England.

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized; someone who thinks about skiing day and night; and is out on the snow whenever possible; someone who embodies the spirit of skiing?  Send us an email, tell us some stories about their spirit and nominate them for a chance to train all off-season on an amazing Serotta bicycle!
