New England BKL Youth Skiing Symposium

Join NENSA for the 2018 New England Bill Koch League Youth Skiing Symposium! This workshop is intended for club leaders, parent voltunteers, and youth ski coaches from all across New England.
Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Cheryl Coker, an expert in the fields of long term athlete development and physical therapy. Dr. Coker teaches in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and the Department of Health and Human Performance at Plymouth State University. She is an expert in motor skill acquisition who draws from her experiences as an elite athlete and coach to assist practitioners in putting theory into practice to optimize their athletes’ skill development and performance.
Other speakers include NENSA Youth and Introductory Program Director Tom Weir, and staff from Plymouth State University’s Adventure Education department who will lead teambuilding exercises at their indoor challenge course following our morning sessions. Please note that depending on weather we will be either walking or driving from Holderness School to the challenge course (approximately 1 mile).
Registration fee includes brunch in the Holderness School dining hall. Please find a tentative schedule below
