2018-2019 | NENSA Event Organizer Information & Anticipated Dates

NENSA events, such as Eastern Cup, U16’s, EHS Championships, Zak Cup and Marathons serve many purposes beyond providing a timed course for racers.  These races are a primary vehicle through which NENSA can direct the development of ski racers and our skiing community.   Eastern Cup, Marathon Series, Zak, Club Cup Series and Championship race organizers are partners with NENSA in building success at all levels of the sport.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY PLANNING

All NENSA Series events must have a written medical emergency plan in place prior to the event. NENSA offers a set of recommendations and an emergency plan template that was developed in conjunction with medical professionals including physicians and EMT and SAR specialists.

Eastern Cup Tentative Dates*

  • Weekend 1 – December 22-23, 2018. NRL (FIS if applicable)
  • Weekend 2 – January 19-20, or 26-27, 2019. NRL (likely ST and FIS)
  • Weekend 3 – February 9-10, or 16-17, 2019. NRL (FIS if applicable)
  • Weekend 4 – February 16-17, or 23-24, 2019. NRL (FIS if applicable)

  • U16 Eastern Championships – March 8-10th, 2019 Bethel Village Trails- Bethel, Maine
    Eastern High School Championships – March 15-17th, 2019 Fort Kent Outdoor Center, Fort Kent, Maine
