NENSA Gaining the Edge clinic, Module One, Technique & Physiology
Colby College, Waterville, ME
This one day clinic is open to anyone looking to improve their ski technique, and learn ways to teach others effectively. Classic and skate will be addressed. An overview of physiology and how to apply this knowledge to training will also be covered. Participants who complete the clinic will receive credit toward NENSA level one coaches certification and will receive a discount towards the USSA L100 certification. (Both NENSA modules are needed in order to become fully certified as a NENSA level one coach- please go to www.nensa.net>racing>coaching for more information).
Clinic will take place at Colby College. Equipment needed: Please bring rollerski gear, both classic and skate if you have it. Technique work will last for 2 to 2.5 hours. Afternoon session will be classroom style ( bring your own lunch) and include a discussion of physiology as it relates to ski training. Clinic will end by 3 PM.
Cost for clinic is $45 for NENSA members and $50 for non members. Clinic will run from 9 AM to 2 PM. Participants should bring their own lunch. Online registration is open and preferred.. Contact:Tracey Cote, firstname.lastname@example.org, or janice Sibilia, email@example.com

NENSA Event Cancellation Policy (for all events):
The policy regarding refunds in the case of event cancellation should be stated on the entry form for the event. In the absence of a specific event cancellation policy, fifty percent of the entry fee will be refunded.
