Race to the Top of Vermont

Runners, hikers, and mountain bikers of all ages and abilities have a unique challenge to look forward to this summer. The Race to the Top of Vermont is one of Vermont's toughest yet most rewarding races, climbing the 4.3-mile Toll Road to the summit of Mt. Mansfield. With competitors traveling from over 24 states and Canada, participants are able to test their willpower to reach new heights. Following the event, there will be a BBQ with live music, race awards, and over $14,000 of prizes!! Proceeds from The Race To The Top Of VT will benefit the Catamount Trail Association and the Vermont Land Trust. The VLT will be utilizing this event as a fundraiser to save 1,161 acres of backcountry land in Bolton Valley from commercial development. Hundreds of participants will do the non-competitive hike with the goal of raising thousands of dollars to protect this land used by over 15,000 backcountry skiers and hikers. The policy regarding refunds in the case of event cancellation should be stated on the entry form for the event. In the absence of a specific event cancellation policy, fifty percent of the entry fee will be refunded.
