NENSA is excited to announce that the 19th edition of New England Women’s XC Ski Day will be held at Bethel Village Trails in Bethel, ME on Sunday February 23, 2020!
New England Women’s XC Ski Day was started in 2002 by former Olympian Trina Hosmer of Stowe, VT. Trina was inspired by her “sisters in skiing” in Anchorage, Alaska, who started the Alaska Ski for Women in 1997.
The highlight of the day is learn-to-ski clinics with women instructors; the emphasis being on relaxed, fun learning with other women. The event also features optional morning yoga, lunch at The Bethel Inn, a raffle, and vendor booths with items to try and buy.
Bethel Village Trails and the Bethel Inn have done an amazing job of hosting Women’s Day in the past and we’re so happy to be teaming up with them again for a celebration of women’s skiing in New England!
Save the date, and book a room at the host hotel, the Bethel Inn for the weekend! There is a 20% discount at the inn for Women’s Day attendees. Enter the code261512 when you are making your reservation at https://bethelinn.com, or you can call (800) 654-0125 to reserve and mention Women’s XC Ski Day.
