Sophie Caldwell's now well known success at NCAA's this past March has netted her well deserved recognition.  Sophie, a Stratton Alum, member of the new SMS Elite team and top Dartmouth skier, has earned Collegiete skier of the year award. Read more here in Ski Racing.  Congratulations Sophie!

As the team enters its fourth year of domestic and international racing, the Craftsbury Green Racing Project is looking for an experienced Wax Tech for the 2012-2013 season.

The 3rd annual National J2 Talent Camp will be conducted August 4- August 11, 2012 in Craftsbury, Vermont at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. The camp will provide a great opportunity for many of the top young cross country skiers in the U.S. to train together, and learn from USST staff and top club coaches.

It is an exciting time for elite U23 and senior skiers in New England! With the Craftsbury Green Racing Project in full swing and garnering solid results this season, MWSC continuing its long standing programs, and now Stratton adding an Elite team into the mix, athletes serious about training for the highest levels of the sport, can find plenty of opportunities. The third annual USSA National J2 Camp will take place at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Craftsbury, VT this August and we are looking for intern coaches to join us!

Yesterday dawned with sunny skies and temps more in line with winter ski racing. A north wind brought in the colder air which made for some very fast track for the classic sprint.

Craftsbury Outdoor Center, VT -- Dartmouth Colllege skier Eric Packer sprinted ahead of Reese Hanneman and Karl Nygren for the men's classic sprint victory.  For the women, it was former World Champion Chandra Crawford over U.S. World Cup phenom Jessie Diggins and Vermont native Jessie Bender.
