After 20+years, marathon ski racing returns to Bretton Woods
CNL Lifestyle Company, LLC, presents the New England Ski Museum's Bretton Woods Marathon on Saturday, March 14, 2009. With a vast trail network, spacious Nordic Center, and limitless hospitality and recreation facilities, the Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire is a 12-month destination with unprecedented winter offerings.While you are experiencing the ultimate Nordic experience, your friends and family can ski, Alpine ski, soar on the treetop Canopy Tour or relax in The Spa. While you are supping on goo and feed station goodies, they can be sipping cocoa by the fireplace. Whether you come for a day or make a weekend of it, Bretton Woods will roll out the red carpet along with the tracks to make this a memorable outing.

50-km Race or 25-km Tour - your choice!
The Bretton Woods Nordic Center at Mount Washington Resort invites all long-distance classic skiers to join them on a new journey to benefit the New England Ski Museum on March 14, 2009. This 50-km, classic format, cross country ski race, and 25-km untimed tour, will tap into one of the largest Nordic systems in the northeast. In the tracks of the famed 1982 US National Championships and legends as Bill Koch and Tim Caldwell, this race is steeped in history and Nordic skiing tradition. Please join us.
Racers and tourers will also enjoy a post-race buffet and awards ceremony in The Mount Washington Hotel's new Presidential Ballroom along with the chance to win raffle prizes from a bounteous selection of merchandise, including items from the New England Ski Museum's Catalog!
Pre-register by Feb. 21 to take advantage of early registration discounts; the field will be limited and there is no day-of-race registration.
