Stratton skiers have made up a large part of the NE JO team each year, and have qualified a number of skiers to the J1 Scando trips and Jr. World Championships. This year at JO's, Stratton skiers were awarded the Roger Weston High School Team Award (Female) and took second overall in the USSA Club Team award. Andy Newell is perhaps the best known recent Alum, but overall 27 SMS nordic athletes have made the U.S. World Junior Team, 17 have made the U.S. National Team and 13 have made the U.S. Olympic Team since 1980....

Snow and lots of enthusiasm were perfect ingredients for the NENSA Gaining Ground Coaching Clinic this weekend. 22 Coaches throughout New England and New York navigated snowy roads Friday to Mountain Top Nordic Center in North Chittenden, VT. We arrived to a winter wonderland just in time for the first on snow coaches clinic in New England. Participants spent the weekend learning about technique, training planning, team organization, coaching skills and waxing from some of the top coaches in the North East.

The Coastal Nordic Ski Club (CNSC), a nonprofit organization located in southern Maine, is seeking a Head Coach for the Maine Coast Nordic Ski Team.
