What is more fun than a long ski tour with family and friends???
The Banknorth New England Marathon Series offers this opportunity for BKL families -- while throwing in gourmet feed stations, splendidly groomed trials, and sights begging to be seen.

2/1/03  Bankorth Craftsbury Marathon, Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Craftsbury Common, VT.
Event Info: Classic Marathon, 25 and 50km. Mass race start, 9am. 25km Tour start, 9:30am. Point to point event, bussing to start, gourmet and racer food stations, hearty post-race meal included.
Registration: Closes Wednesday, 1/29/03 or earlier, if 800 person limit is reached. No DOR registration. 
Easiest, least expensive way to register is on our secure website, www.craftsbury.com. Race $50 by 11/30/02, $60 by 12/31/02, $70 by 1/29/03. Tour $35 by 11/30/02, $40 by 12/31/02, $45 by 1/29/03. Kids 13 and under touring with adult, $20 by 1/29/03.                                

  Pre-race pasta dinner, $10 for adults and $6 for kids 13 and under at racer packet pickup/ TOKO wax clinic location, Friday 1/31/03,6-8pm.  Meals, lodging, babysitting available by reservation at 802/586-7767.

Event Info: 25k or 50k freestyle. Race class and Touring class.  Mass Wave Starts. Race-9:30am, Tour-9:50-10:10 (non-timed). Food Stations for the Gliding Gourmet!
Registration:  Race - $45 by 1/15/03, $55 by 2/15/03, $65 by 2/26/03, no DOR entries. Register online with Active.com,

:  Classical, 50/25 K, wave starts. Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, Gorham, NH start, through White Mountain National Forest Lands to Bretton Woods Nordic Center, Bretton Woods, NH finish. Start times: 8:30 am 50 km timed, 8:40 am 25 km timed, 8:45-9:00 non-timed skiers.  Point-to-point.  Bussing included for participants.
Registration**:  Limited to 500 skiers..Pre-registration by 3/1 postmark required.  Timed classes: $55 by 1/1, $65 by 2/1, $75 by 3/1;Non-timed classes:  $40 by 2/1, $50 by 3/1.
